This website kicks ass for those of you that have young children learning Chinese. It’s called www.mandarama.com and is a UK based website for young learners. Unlike most learn-Chinese-websites, this website is basically all fun and games that incorporate Chinese vocabulary and grammar lessons. Perfect for kids of this generation that love digital games since it’s killing two birds with one stone. I mean, however else can one make learning mandarin fun? Both my kids learn mandarin at school, but in addition to this, their teacher comes to the house on the weekend and she incorporate playing mandarama into their 2 hour tutoring lesson. They all have loads of fun.

Online games is the way to go for this kind of stuff. You DO have to pay for a 3-month, 6-month or 1-year subscription, but it’s not too much and definitely worth it especially for foreigners that live in China and learning the language isn’t an option. It’s even helping ME! Who says it’s for kids only?! =)
